Professor Bola Grace has decades of leadership experience at the intersection of healthtech and women’s health across multiple industries, including biotech, pharma, academia, and non-profit sectors. Prof Grace successfully balances her corporate and academic careers. Within industry she has provided commercial and technical direction to highly-skilled, cross-functional teams on complex programmes; delivering numerous innovative award-winning digital solutions. Currently sitting on governing boards, she has worked at Abbott Labs, KPMG, Alere, P&G, GSK, and other fortune 500 companies; she founded Cambridge Matrix. In her role as Professor of Practice, she lectures, supervises research projects, presents at (inter)national conferences, publishing her work in leading journals. She enjoys collaborative research on women’s health, digital medicine, reproductive science, diagnostics, inclusive innovation, and the application of data science and AI to research and praxis, publishing extensively on these topics. She is a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor, Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health, Member of the Institute of Directors, and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. She has four degrees, including a PhD in Population Health and Epidemiology from University College London, and an Executive MBA from The University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
