Dr. Orlanda Allen is a senior clinician-executive and women’s health advocate whose leadership has been shaped by frontline clinical practice and system-level responsibility across both the UK National Health Service (NHS) and the UK independent healthcare sector. Trained as a medical doctor, her work with women and families has deeply informed her understanding of the gaps, inequities, and opportunities within women’s health services. She currently serves as Head of Women’s Services, where she leads multidisciplinary teams and oversees the delivery, governance, and strategic development of complex women’s health services. Her work is grounded in the belief that improving women’s health requires not only clinical excellence, but also strong leadership, inclusive service design, and sustained advocacy. Dr Allen is an active speaker at national and international panels, contributing to conversations on women’s health, clinical leadership, and health system reform. She has also designed and delivered events and forums that bring together clinicians, leaders, innovators, and communities to drive meaningful change in women’s health. Dr Allen has a strong professional interest in digital health and blended models of care, particularly how technology-enabled pathways can improve access, continuity, and patient experience across the women’s health life course. Her experience across NHS and private healthcare settings gives her a nuanced understanding of how digital innovation, operations, and culture must align to deliver sustainable impact. She holds a master’s in medical leadership from Bayer’s Business School and an MBA in Health from University College London, Global Business School for Health, and is recognised for her values-led, pragmatic approach to change.
